The Scouts of Troop 2 do all of this and much more… while having all kinds of fun.

Tell me More About Troop 2
The Scouts of Troop 2 love to camp. Typically, we camp on the third weekend of every month. The Troop is made of Patrols of 5 to 8 Scouts. Each Patrol will elect leaders, practice Scout skills and plan and cook their own camp meals. The boys also elect other boys to be the Troop leaders. Scouts are recognized for their achievements through earning ranks from Tenderfoot to Eagle, and by earning Merit Badges in over 100 subjects including Citizenship in the Nation, Fly Fishing, Automotive Repair and Chess.
The Scouts of Troop 2 are Going Places. We enjoy hiking and cycling. The Troop offers many opportunities to earn the Hiking and the Cycling merit badge, and we are planning many bike rides and hikes throughout the year. We recognize those Scouts who earn the Cycling, Hiking and Swimming merit badges with the special Iron Scout patch. So get your best hiking boots, grab your bike helmet, air up the tires and join us.
What About the Parents?
The Scouts of Troop 2 lead themselves, but under the watchful eye of the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters. These volunteer leaders, usually parents of Scouts, receive training from the Boy Scouts of America. The Parents of Troop 2 understand the values and skills that Scouting offers their boys. The parents help in a wide variety of ways in the Troop to support their Scouts and each other.
